The story of AEIOMed starts with founder and CEO Steve Bordewick developing CPAP machine and masks in his shed at the back of the garden. Not satisfied with the offering of equipment at the time, Steve set out to innovate based on real user feedback. AEIOMed was one of the companies wanting to reduce the size of then bulky equipment considerably.
For the nasal interface, or mask, AEIOMed recognised the difficulty some users had with the continuous adjustment of straps. To counter this, they developed a strapless design with just a single, partly rubber based headgear design which leaves the face completely free of straps. No straps means less facial surface contact and less itching, rubbing and redness.
With their customer driven designs, AEIOMed's Everest 2 CPAP machine has settles itself firmly amongst the most popular CPAP machines in the world, by user preference. Its optional integrated battery makes the Everest a great choice for travelers or those with unreliable power supplies.
AEIOMed's CPAP products are not very common in the UK. Being founded in the US, it first set out to conquer the bigger and more advanced American market. With their innovative CPAP therapy solutions, we hope to see them break into the UK market soon.
