Philips DreamStation – Patient-Driven Design

The stylish Philips Respironics DreamStation CPAP machine is lighter and smaller than its System One predecessor, weighing around 15% less. The lightness of the device makes travelling with your equipment simple, so you can enjoy quality sleep wherever you are.

Simple therapy tracking

The clear colour display on the DreamStation CPAP allows you to view vital sleep statistics instantly. Your healthcare provider can also view your therapy data by downloading it via the SD card (included in the pack).

Additionally, Philips makes staying on top of your therapy and tracking your progress easy with the DreamMapper app and website. Features of DreamMapper include:

• Information on mask fit, AHI and usage hours.
• Ability to set goals to track your progress and improve your confidence.
• Video guidance to help you get the most from your device.

You can download the app if you have a compatible smart device (iOS /Android).

DreamStation Auto features

Automatic Start and Stop: The innovative machine can detect when you are and are not using the device. As soon as you remove your mask, the machine will stop, and once your mask is put back on, it will automatically resume your therapy.

Easy maintenance: The DreamStation requires no maintenance other than regular changing of the filters. The device also features automatic filter reminders to let you know when the filters are reaching the end of their lifespan.

Exhalation relief (A-Flex): The smart technology incorporates exhalation relief for added comfort. This feature lowers the pressure slightly when you breathe out to make it more comfortable.

Phillips has refined this functionality to make the transitions between inhalation and exhalation smoother and more natural.

Optional humidification

To add comfort to your therapy, you can add the Philips DreamStation Heated Humidifier to the unit. The small humidifier chamber slots easily into the machine, sharing the same power supply. The DreamStation Heated Humidifier is available separately. The humidifier adds warmth to your air pressure, helping to prevent dryness and discomfort. The various temperatures allow you to find a suitable level of comfort.

The humidifier features an adaptive mode that monitors the ambient humidity of the room and adjusts the temperature automatically – so you can rest assured you will receive the correct level of humidification anyway.
